Burdened for over 25 years by the question, “Why?” Karen and Celesta Davis set out to confront the neighbor and friend of their parents who sexually molested them when they were children. Sadly, even though the Davis sisters’ parents were aware of their friend’s abuse, they not only did nothing; they even maintained social ties with the man for years afterward. Firmly resolved to no longer let past events dominate her and her sister’s lives, Celesta Davis reaches back into the past with her camera and her courage, hoping finally to exorcise the demons that have haunted her and Karen all this time. It’s territory laden with emotional landmines, but Davis ventures in, fiercely determined not to be afraid.
